We believe in building strong relationships, in the unique great love which renews itself every day. We look after our land with the highest human technology: the heart. Since 1910 we grow olives. Our knowledge and our quality standards has been passed through five generations on to the people who love the land and its fruits. Our olives, with their unique shape, colour and texture are treated soon after the harvest by our highly qualified experts who keep the tradition alive.
When the nephews inherited the family farm, it was far cry from 1850, when Savino Caporale established it. Purchased for 4.800 ducat, it was no more than a grazing land with few structures. Throughout the years, new olive trees, almond orchards and vineyards were planted, olive oil mills and equipments to clean and store the almonds placed, and, the main products cultivated: all different forms of the same passion. Today, Sabino Caporale and his two sons manage the family farm producing extra virgin olive oil (Coratina e Peranzana), fruits, (apples, quinces and clingstones), wine grape and cereals.
The Caporale family farm is located in the countryside of “Canosa”, one of the area in Apulia and in Italy that, because of its history and its morphology, is devoted to the olive growing. Here, the soil is particularly stony, tuff, and calcareous, with a high content of mineral salts which provide the soil the ideal complex of nutritional substances. From 1910, the Caporale family farm grows the “Coratina”, the traditional olive tree in Apulia and in the northern areas of Bari, and it produces an extra virgin olive oil perfect with delicate meals, enhancing the flavour of foods. Almost 7 years the family estate rediscovered the ancient variety of “Peranzana”, which especially in this territory releases its delicate fragrances.
